I Heart DoSpace
Do Space is a community technology library filled with opportunities to learn, grow, explore and create. IHeartDoSpace.com is a website for individuals who visit DoSpace to show off what they are inventing, creating, trying, working, learning or playing.
Color Palette
The simple, immersive form allows individuals visiting DoSpace to select the type of experience they are having, give a short description and upload a photo of themselves at DoSpace or the project they are working on. Form submissions are approved by the DoSpace staff and automatically posted to the website.
Progressive Images

Loading lots of images can slow down a website. Every page of IHeartDoSpace.com utilizes user-submitted photos and there are a lot of thumbnails and full-width images loading. To keep all those images from dragging down performance, I utilized a progressive image technique to only load images when they are in view, first load a tiny, low-quality image that is blurred and then fade in the full resolution image.
